Test Engineer
SemiSouth has an
immediate opening for a Test Engineer working with SiC power device
products.
Summary:
This position will work closely with the manufacturing organization in
developing and supporting the product test methodology.
Variables data will be extracted during the production test flow and
this data will help establish how the test flow evolves.
Test flow comprehensiveness with minimal time expended will always be
the objective.
Responsibilities:
- Provide integrated hardware/software/procedural systems for the manufacturing organization.
- Participate in all aspects of semiconductor dice and
package testing, including developing test methodologies, defining test
procedures, analyzing results, and procuring necessary equipment.
- Develop code to control a diverse set of measurement equipment.
- Manage multiple projects across multiple products and multiple customer requirements.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems on test equipment to
determine the true cause of a problem and provide workable solutions in
a reasonable timeframe.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of variables data in master files and various support tools.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required or requested from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering,
Process Engineering, Software Engineering or related subject or 2+
years of applicable experience including test and measurement, high
volume process monitoring systems, inspection systems, and power
component/module production.
- Experience with data charting and tabulations.
- Knowledge of database administration.
- Strong mathematical and problem solving skills.
- PC and software user skills as well as PC based programming skills using high level languages.
- Experience with Windows base programming for front-end UI application, I/O, etc.
