Quality Control Manager

SemiSouth has an opening for a Quality Control Manager working with the SiC power device fabrication facility located in Starkville, MS. 

Summary:
This position reports to the Director of Front-end Operations.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Engineers to perform data analysis and hold regular quality improvement meetings to achieve target yield rate.
  • Monitor incoming materials quality to ensure they meet the specification and requirements.
  • Meet with suppliers to drive quality improvement when there is quality issue.
  • Define procedures to monitor the product quality in-process and of finished goods.
  • Attend daily production meeting with management and operations departments to suggest short term and long term corrective actions to solve quality and reliability issues
  • Handle customer’s complaints and returns
  • Establish quality and environmental systems

 
Minimum Requirements:

  • BS degree or higher diploma in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Management
  • Experience in semiconductor operations and fabrication is a “must have” requirement.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Management System and Product Reliability
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, commitment to task, problem solving, and customer orientation
