Production Control Manager
SemiSouth has an immediate opening for a Production Control
Manager working with SiC power device products. This position is
located at our manufacturing facility in Starkville, MS.
Summary:
This position plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors
the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Works
as a liaison between all functional areas.
Responsibilities:
- Works from sales and customer forecasts to establish a
master schedule and to set and change production schedules to maximize
output of established priorities.
- Coordinates/monitors production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
- Follows the flow of material from planned/production orders through sales order shipment to customers.
- Works on problems/projects of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Has detailed contact with all internal groups.
- Collects and summarizes data for reporting to management.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Ensures all products are shipped on schedule.
- As the company evolves, provide work leadership to others in Production Control.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years work-related experience as a Production Control Analyst in a semiconductor company.
- Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
- In-depth knowledge of a MRP system such that new systems can be quickly adapted.
